The PocketLovey was invented years ago by a tired mommy who was desperate to soothe her wailing infant son. Aiming to create a portable lovey that was stimulating and soothing to her baby while practical and fashionable for herself, she was wildly successful on both fronts. The brainchild of Tamara Cryar, The PocketLovey Company was born in Austin, Texas in 2008.

Received with wonder and joy by her baby—and admiration by other mommies—the PocketLovey has since evolved into the more sophisticated product that you see today. Design upgrades are the result of real-world research—two babies in two years, to be specific!

In fact, our creator’s children are just as enthralled with their PocketLoveys today as when they were infants – although nowadays, you’re more likely to find a toy car than a pacifier tucked into the pocket! The timelessness of the PocketLovey has been a welcome surprise.
